Saturday 11th – Monkton Combe, Midford

Thursday 23rd – Green Spaces walk
With her original planned walk partially submerged, Gill Carter set out with a group of sixteen on a more local walk, starting from the White Tree Roundabout, on an absolutely glorious day.
There are many advantages to such a walk: several of us went to places we had never been before, while others shared local knowledge of orchards and allotments. A coffee stop at The Ardagh provided that most welcome loo stop, plus coffee for those who wished for more than a flask. Gradually our numbers dwindled as we passed convenient bus stops and turning off points, until two of us continued to the White Tree to complete the walk, and three of us peeled off into Cafe 96 on Henleaze Road for lunch / coffee.
