Stoke Lodge Ramblers – Bristol Walking Group

Stoke Lodge Ramblers is a walking and social club based in Stoke Bishop and its surrounding areas in Bristol. We’ve been walking since 1983.

We walk on Thursdays and Sundays throughout the year and hold a number of social and non-walking activities to cater for all walking abilities of the club members. We have approximately 90 members but we always welcome newcomers to what is and always has been a very friendly walking club.

Full details of our Walks Programme can be found here.

Photos

We are glad to receive photos taken on walks, and upload these on a ‘page per walk’ basis. They can all be found via this link.

Older photos (prior to 2016) are scattered around the site.

For example, this photo was taken on the final annual coach outing which went to Salisbury on Saturday 11th June 2016 – the longer walk group started at Stonehenge and walked back into Salisbury. We no longer hire a coach but we do still have an annual outing!

Longer walk group gather in front of the stones at Stonehenge-joined on right by a couple of travellers!
