Thursday 8th June – Chew Valley Lake

Alison led a walk starting at Herriot’s Bridge. There were 10 of us when we left Cross Elms but only 7 walked and braved the heavy rain at the start. It soon cleared and we walked through Compton Martin and W. Harptree with great views across 2 lakes. We also used the first kissing gate donated by Stoke Lodge Ramblers which was just besides our lunch stop.
