Sunday February 2nd – Norton Malreward
Sue and Liz led a walk from Norton Malreward around Stanton Drew, to the Cake Box with delicious cakes and back up hill to the church. We called at the Cake Box, a pop up coffee and cake venue in a field.
A beautiful early Spring day as shown. There were just 8 of us milling about the stone circle. Much conjecture about how they got them there before the invention of the wheel ?
Thursday 13 February – Clevedon
Gill lead a 5 mile walk from Salthouse field; along Poets walk and crossing the Blind Yeo twice and back through Clevedon, not much mud. Followed by lunch for 12 at the Salthouse pub.
Thursday 20th February – Newark Park
Margaret led 8 people on a short walk to see the spring flowers, mainly avoiding the rain.
Thursday 27th February – City Walk
Andy led 10 of us on an interesting and informative walk around the old city and up to Clifton
